"Gilmore" -- Goodbye Girls
Say goodbye to Stars Hollow -- "Gilmore Girls" is officially over. Get out your kleenex. The final episode of the show, which launched the careers of Alexis Bledel and "Heroes" star Milo Ventimiglia, airs May 15.
I know it's been out for awhile, but one of my friends recently let me borrow The Kite Runner so I was able to read it, and I absolutely loved it. It's really well written and it definitely keeps your attention. So, if you're looking for something to read and you haven't already read this, I recommend you give this one a try.
Have you seen this yet? Google Maps came out with a new feature called Street View. It's kinda cool. Right now it's only in 5 cities (SF Bay Area, NYC, Las Vegas, Denver, and Miami), but it looks interesting. Check it out.
Check this video out. This guy has great aim with ping pong balls. He must be a beer pong expert and probably did really well in Geometry class as well.
I was a little disappointed in tonight's 2 hour episode of Grey's Anatomy that new spin-off show pretending to be Grey's Anatomy. I even fell asleep in part of it and that never happens because it's one of my favorite shows. What is happening with all of my TV shows lately? First Gilmore Girls (see below), now this. Sigh, I just might have to start relying on real life soon. muahaha. =P

There was a game I used to play as a kid with some of my friends called "Sweet or Sour." When we were passengers in a car, we used to wave to random adults in other cars and wait for their response. If they would wave back, they were labeled as "sweet" and if they didn't wave back, they were labeled as "sour." Did anyone else used to play this game? I remember thinking it was fun and always hoped for a wave back. Plus, it passed the time during a long drive somewhere.
Anyways, the reason I mention this is because as I was driving on the freeway today, I saw little kids playing the same game, or at least what I assumed to be the same game. And it made me smile as I saw these two little girls giggling in the back seat waving at the cars that passed them by because I used to be them and now I was on the other side of the equation. I was the adult being tested. And of course I passed the test by getting the "sweet" label.
Aww, memories... :)
